Deborah Westbrook's single-family home at 303 Dwelling Court had a fire break out near the entryway at 5:48 p.m. on Jan. 30, Trooper First Class Kemerer detailed in the release.
Westbrook was found by Shippensburg firefighters who entered the smoke-filled home through the first window about a minute later. EMS at the scene treated her and took her to a helicopter landing zone so she could receive further care at a medical facility in Maryland, the Shippensburg Fire Department explained.

Her home was near 12 other residents's homes so they were evacuated along with a pet to the community room, the fire officials stated in a release. Ten people received assistance from the American Red Cross of Greater Pennsylvania.
Fire officials believe that many of the residents should be able to return to their homes soon.
The fire was brought under control at 6:27 p.m., and the scene of the fire was cleared at 10:30 p.m., according to the Shippensburg Fire Department.
The fire is under investigation by the Chambersburg State Police Fire Marshal. The cause and the estimated cost of the damage have not been released.
